Rainy Glass.
 

Today I will show you how to create a rain flow the other side of window glass.

Step 1.
Choose a picture with an autumnal landscape.

Change the saturated color of the picture into the dim color. Apply Image > Adjuistments > Hue/Saturation with the following settings: Hue -> -18, Saturation -> -28, Lightness -> -6, Colorize -> OFF. Duplicate "Background" layer and name it "Layer 1". Apply Filter > Distort > Glass with the following settings: Distortion -> 3, Smoothness -> 7, Texture -> Canvas, Scaling -> 200%, Invert -> OFF.

Step 2.
Go to Channel palette and create a new chanel (Alpha 1). Apply Filter > Render > Fibers with the following settings: Variance -> 26, Strength -> 1. Apply Filter > Blur > Motion Blur with the settings: Angle -> 90; Distance -> 60. Now press "Load channel as selection" button. Go to Layers palette and create a new layer "Layer 2". Then fill it with the white color (apply Edit > Fill...). And then apply Select > Deselect. Apply Filter > Render > Lightning Effects with the following settings:

Then apply Layer > Layer Style > Bevel and Emboss with the following settings:

Then set Opacity -> 60%, Fill -> 80% on the layer palette.

Step 3.
Duplicate "Layer 1" and drag it on the top. Go to Channel palette and create a new chanel. Then apply Filter > Render > Fibers with the following settings: Variance -> 25, Strength -> 25. Apply Filter > Blur > Motion Blur with the following settings: Angle -> 90; Distance -> 25. Apply Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur with the following settings: Radius -> 3px. Then apply Image > Adjuistments > Threshold. Now press "Load channel as selection" button and apply Select > Set Selection (with channel "Alpha 1"). Go to Layers palette and press Del. Apply Select > Deselect. Apply Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur with the following settings: Radius -> 5px. Then apply Select > Load Selection and press Del again. Select > Deselect. Apply Edit > Adjuistments > Brightness/Contrast with Brightness -> +3, Contrast -> -15. And that's it.
